The Masaf (Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry) has published decree no. 21565 of 17 January 2024 – signed by the Undersecretary of State, Patrick La Pietra (in the photo), and registered by the Court of Auditors on 1 February 2024 - containing the criteria for the distribution of the resources assigned in the chapter. 2299 pages. 2 to racing companies for the year 2024 grant.
The decree states the following:
“For the year 2024, the resources referred to in art. 1, paragraph 441 of law 29 December 2022 n. 197 are assigned on the basis of the criteria established by the decree of the Undersecretary of State n. 148803 dated March 9, 2023.
The relationship between the racing companies and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry with regard to the provision of the subsidies referred to in this article is regulated, pursuant to articles 10 and 11 of law 7 August 1990, n. 241, through the same replacement agreement adopted with regard to the provision of subsidies regulated by decree 4701/2020.
The delivery methods are those established by the directorial decree of 23 September 2020 n. 9166497 and subsequent amendments.
The reference activities of this decree are carried out within the financial coverage ensured by the budget law and current regulations, in particular relating to expenditure chapter 2299, page 2 of Mission 9 - Agriculture, agri-food policies and fishing, Program 6 – Competitive policies, agri-food quality, fishing, horse racing and technical means of production – Action 5 – Interventions
favor of the horse racing sector.
This decree is transmitted to the competent control bodies for registration and published on the Ministry's website".
