The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (Masaf), through a specific decree, has established the following: “The national calendar of ordinary races for the year 2024, defined by directorial decree no. 700104 of 21 December 2023 and modified with directorial decree no. 55165 of 5 February 2024, is further amended as specified below and as more clearly and comprehensively specified in annex no. 1 to this decree, of which it constitutes an integral and substantial part:
April 2024
Varese racecourse:
recovery of the racing day not held due to adverse weather conditions on 27 February on 2 April
Palermo hippodrome:
advance to April 5th of the racing day scheduled for April 6th and advance to April 26th of the racing day scheduled for April 27th, for reasons of public order and safety communicated by the Palermo Police Headquarters
Chilivani Racecourse:
integration of a day of racing on 6 April, with prize money entirely financed by the Sardinia Region
Hippodrome of Syracuse:
advance to April 6th of the day of harness racing scheduled for April 7th and postpone to April 7th the day of gallop racing scheduled for April 6th
Pisa Hippodrome:
moving the racing day of April 26th to November 9th, with the inclusion of the obstacle races scheduled for April 26th on November 28th, in order to give continuity to the autumn obstacle racing season
May 2024
Taranto Hippodrome:
advance to May 7th of the racing day scheduled for October 10th, in order to give continuity to the spring season
Chilivani Racecourse:

moving the racing day of September 20th to September 19th, to resolve the concomitance with the neighboring Naples racecourse

advance from September 28th to September 27th for a more homogeneous scheduling of the scheduled camps

The calendar of the major trotting prizes for the year 2024, defined by decree no. 700104 of 21 December 2023 and modified with directorial decree no. 55165 of 5 February 2024, accompanied by the related appropriations, is amended and integrated as specified below and as per annex no. 4 to this decree, of which it constitutes an integral and substantial part:
