Brezza Du Kras and Gennaro Riccio throw down the gauntlet on the Naples seafront for the international race scheduled for May 1st at the Agnano Hippodrome
On Sunday 14 April, as part of the "Napoli Racing Show" car competition on the Naples seafront, there will also be space for the spectacular preview of the historic international trotting race, the Grand Prix Lotteria, whose 75th edition is scheduled for next 1st May at the Agnano Racecourse. Among the activities organized for the promotion of the horse racing grand prix, the trotting champion Brezza Du Kras will parade on the race circuit, under the public stands facing the sea, with the owner Gennaro Riccio, the same stable as the reigning winner Vernissage Grif (editions 2022 and 2023), who will launch the gauntlet from Naples for the international grand prix on May 1st.
“The Lottery grand prize is approaching and thanks to the opportunity offered by the Racing Show we will have the opportunity to let everyone know about the multiple career winner Brezza Du Kras and the exploits of the Vernissage title holder Grif, nephew and son of Varenne respectively, announced starting in the 2024 edition”, declares Pier Luigi D'Angelo, president of the Neapolitan racecourses.
The Agnano race record, set last year in the final in 1.09.6, and the European record of 1.08.0 per km in the recent Criterium de Vitesse also belong to Vernissage. Distributed on Sunday along the seafront, the Agnano managers have also prepared gadgets and free entry tickets for the public present who will therefore be able to attend the horse racing event included in the selective UET Elite Circuit 2024 of the European trotting for free.
