Horses on the track from 15pm

First midweek of the season and first racing meeting of April atSnai San Siro racecourse of Milan for the 3th day at a gallop. Wednesday 3 are you are the tests on track to start from 15 with the gates of sports square 16 which will be open to the public from 12pm with paid entry for adults (30 euros), while it is free for minors and certified disabled people with only one companion. In the program, part of the naming of the prizes is to remember the places where the races were held in Milan before the tracks were built in the San Siro area.

The highlight of the day is the Lakes Award, traditional conditioning return for the young 3-year-old sprinters in the 1.200 meters and race with more equipment than the meeting. There is also the 'twin' test, for the Corso Buenos Aires Award, always on the same distance but reserved for older horses (4 years and over). However, there are 14 starters in the edition of Patronesse Award in which the amazons and the knights face each other for a handicap on the characteristic 1.400 meters straight which is also valid as Second Tris. The last two races of the day are also to be enjoyed: the first is for the Piazza d'Armi Award, handicap of excellent thickness for pure sprinters aged 4 years and over on the minimum distance and valid as Second Tris. And to close the Castellazzo di Rho Award, handicap of very good category for the 3 years on the 1.400 meters in the straight which is valid as Quintè. But let's see in detail all the races of the Milanese afternoon.

PROGRAM – 15PM

FIRST THING – CASBENO AWARD

We start with a handicap for 3-year-old sprinters in a good category over 1.200 metres. The best candidates on the eve are undoubtedly at the top of the weight scale, with Black Magma allowing itself to be preferred despite the severe top weight in light of the valid return returning to a more welcome distance. Dubawi Flag debuts in the evaluation after a couple of placings in lower categories which indicate he is ready to strike, and in fact Fair Angel is on the same level, having beaten him at a very high altitude in the common recent engagement. Sopran Piave instead closes the gap after a good performance against opponents similar to today's.

SECOND RACE – LAKES PRIZE

And here is the highlight of the races on April 3rd with the traditional return conditioning for the young 3-year-old sprinters over 1.200 meters. it's true, it doesn't appear to be the best edition of the race, with more doubts than certainties, especially regarding the returns, with Patroclo having disappointed in his second outing after an excellent victorious debut, and with Lethal Nigio having won two out of four but which has recurred since July, and with Via Electriano itself returning to action after having signed two nurseries in a row in full growth. The opportunity is therefore tempting for TERRANO, who in turn won a similar test in Rome upon his return, confirming the potential highlighted at 2 years old, aiming for a prompt encore with obvious and justified ambitions. Free Nation is another very logical candidate who will play the part of him.

THIRD RUN – BUENOS AIRES COURSE PRIZE

Follows the conditioning considered as evidencetwin' del Laghi, but this time for older horses but still busy on the 1.200 meters straight. There are many who can try to win so why not let yourself be tempted by the suggestion of Ghepardo Da Todi, who had a bad finish last season in Umbria, but who had started it off great by winning this race on his return. The various Enta Omry, Momento Giusto, Rough Rustic arrive from a well-run Camici in which they confirmed everything they had to confirm, and with them there is obviously Blu Metal Jacket, in turn with all the credentials to aim for the loot full. Nobody forgets Beau Shadow, which reappeared in an encouraging way on its debut with the new colours.

FOURTH RACE – PATRONESS AWARD

On the track, as already mentioned, the riders and riders for this test handicap on the characteristic 1.400 meters straight which is worth as Second Tris. From the wild group can emerge Niagara Mouse, who has no shadow accompanying his eve, being serious and reliable and having already impressed on the track and the distance. Curandero himself is very regular and together with Isabel Queen, with her recent impeccable form, constitutes a pair of very dangerous alternatives. Allocco finished behind in the Apertura but after some betting and here the opponents change, and if the old hero Notturno Ligure always respects himself, also watch out for Fidarsiemeglio.

FIFTH RACE – PIAZZA D'ARMI PRIZE

Still with a valid proof as Second Tris for a handicap of excellent thickness for pure sprinters aged 4 years and over on the minimum distance. Round and round the right time may have come for Liborio, who is running with appreciable continuity and who seems to have all the things in the right place to return to success. The veterans from the Apertura Charme De Chat and Jack Folla can immediately rehabilitate, but Nobu could prove to be even more dangerous, seeing him back on the ball as soon as he found the straight, and Calajunco having just scored and with the possibility of an encore. Lyricus is not in his best moment but would have the class to emerge, while Sopran Akilios has to deal with his return, after the excellent things he showed at 3 years old.

SIXTH RACE – CASTELLAZZO DI RHO PRIZE

The first beautiful Wednesday of the 2024 galloping season at the Snai San Siro racecourse in Milan ends with a handicap of very good category for the 3 years on the 1.400 meters in the straight which is valid as Quintè. The recent winners are greatly respected, Zuleika and Daleet who rightly raise the bar, Mia Toretto who aims for the hat trick but with the unknown distance, and with the same thing that can be said for Dagoberto, who widened over the double kilometre, but against all of these we can try with Petit Joie, who makes his debut in handicap after showing undoubted means, including a return very indicative in this sense. Antico is another with his good chances and attention also to Be My Winner, who is constantly growing at 2 years old and with training that has started well.

The next galloping events on the Milanese track are Saturday e Sunday 6 e 7, then Wednesday 10th and Saturday 13th. Finally Wednesday 17th and Sunday 21st and to close the month on Wednesday 24th and Saturday 27th
