Horses on the track from 12pm
All 'Snai San Siro racecourse di sports square 16 the last midweek of the 2023 gallop season takes place with a racing meeting valid for the 49th day. PROGRAM
FIRST RACE – SCUDERIA ZARO PRIZE
Opening in the name of the Rossi stable with a race featuring riders and riders with a handicap on the mile on a medium track. Round and round, the right time may finally have come for Wall Street Wolf, an old warrior always on the move who is in the right shape to return to success. Hot Sunset is the declared rival returning to the distance where she achieved her last victory, while the others seem a step below, some for one reason, some for another, at least for what can be seen on the eve.
SECOND RACE – SCUDERIA EMMEGI PRIZE
Followed by the first of the two protests of the Milanese afternoon reserved for 3-year-old horses on the characteristic 1.400 meters straight. A decidedly heterogeneous field where the name of Beau Shadow immediately catches the eye, who has to give a lot of kilos to everyone and would have preferred a furlong less but who remains the obvious best in the field and has significantly downgraded himself. Diamond Angel also lowers his aim and can hope for a coup, while at least for a place in the sun Sopran Polluce and Strong Enough who recently won can intervene, but also Fidarsiemeglio who can come forward after a couple of run-in races.
THIRD RACE – AVIS AWARD
At the third race, 2-year-old horses enter the track with a good category nursery at their disposal on the minimum distance for the prize dedicated toItalian Blood Volunteers Association. Not many at the start but it was difficult to think of a higher level of competitiveness and if Artaxas has already won at this level by running well even in conditioning the next time, a very slight preference is given to Fame Of Grif, who did not demerit in the Divino Love and return to face a more congenial task. Via Electriano and Be The Winner won in the lower category, but both with the right malice to be able to respond by moving up a level, while Fox Red can make up for a somewhat disappointing last appearance.
FOURTH RACE – SCUDERIA OROBLU PRIZE
Always the younger generation in action also in the 4th race with a claim on the 1.200 meters, in a decent starting list, Valganna seems to be the most logical option even if Evaporation deserves a suggestive nomination which, after not having convinced on the mile , returns to this distance where he made his debut in an interesting way. Benedetta Follia is another one that lowers the bar after three maiden runs but in a declining phase, and Waste A Moment also downgrades, while the unreleased Ode To Joy is worth monitoring on the market.
FIFTH RACE – SCUDERIA MAGOG PRIZE
In the second part of the racing meeting we return with a handicap, but this time on the double kilometer on an ordinary category medium track for 3 years and over. The general form of the company in the cages is not bad, and certainly not that of Amica Mia, who would certainly have appreciated a few more meters but on loose ground she will have the stamina test she needs. A similar argument can also be applied to Mission Impossible, while Kenji must redeem a somewhat opaque final appearance, while having all the potential to play important possibilities, especially returning to this distance. Duchess of Alba arrives growing up and there is no reason why she can't hope for it. Also watch out for Man In The Mirror.
SIXTH MEETING – SCUDERIA PAMAL AWARD
Penultimate race with the same category as the previous race but for a handicap open to all on the mile distance on the average track. After two second places in a row, at this point Najmuddin would deserve it, having also hit the right fence for his racing aptitude. Porta Venezia beat him recently with a better kilo ratio but he remains a very tough nut to swallow, just as Greenvalchiria would be if he were to be in a good mood. Barrel Bottle, on the other hand, is somewhat surprisingly used over this distance, but in terms of shape there is really nothing to complain about.
SEVENTH RACE – CARLO BASCAPE' AWARD
To conclude the last midweek at the Snai San Siro Racecourse in Milan in 2023, as already mentioned, there is the traditional handicap for pure sprinters aged 3 years and over on the minimum distance named after Carlo Bascapé. Very captivating test where everyone can hope for it, including Rooster, very far from his top but having revised the last one very well, and undoubtedly including Danny Ocean, who with an extra furlong would have been even more effective but who is going great and who likes the soil. Neo Soul itself has finally found its size and will be another serious contender, but at the end of the day the one that intrigues the most is Impressive, which has found a second youth and with a couple of truly excellent performances on the track and the distance. Charme De Chat is always burdened but respects himself.
