Come visit us with a Touch of Spring captivating, because the more colorful your outfit, the better! A Sunday the one scheduled at theSnai San Siro racecourse of Milan, to spend an unforgettable day outdoors and under the sun, full of fun and relaxation. Alone 5 euro the admission ticket for adults and can be purchased directly from ticket office in Piazzale dello Sport 16, while minors and certified disabled people, together with a single companion, can enter for free. The ticket includes all the activities scheduled for the day, excluding the super tour to discover the racecourse.
It's already starting from 10, when the gates of sports square 16 they will open forauction of horses in training scheduled from 11am with public access upon entry ticket (5 euros - ticket can be purchased directly at the ticket office) for a one-of-a-kind experience. After the auction the same public will be able to entertain themselves for lunch at the restaurants Leonardo's Buvette, near the entrance fountain of the equestrian facility, or at Dvca Garden and Parioli in the area of Leonardo's horse, or enjoy a simple aperitif at Turf Bar or Tondino kiosk.
The entertainment starts before the races start live music Trio of Wonders, a band coming directly from the Island of Elba and now at home at the Snai San Siro Hippodrome which offers various covers from the 60s/70s and 80s and which will provide the background music between one race and another throughout the afternoon.
From 15:45, instead, we get to the heart of the 9th seasonal day of galloping and, at the same time, the beginning ofanimation for children inpaddock area, fenced and monitored, thanks to the staff of Pepe Party Milan which organizes themed games 'Circus' for all age groups, from zero to 13 years old: in fact, there will be i creative workshops, the giant wooden games, baby dance, face painting station, swimming pool with colored balls, and much more, which is best not revealed, but which will certainly entertain the little visitors. And there will be no shortage of either Baptism of the Sella intended for the age group 3-13 years ponies of CIL – Lombardy Equestrian Center –, together with the instructors and with the little jockeys protected by helmets and jackets engaged in a short ride around the racecourse fountain. And it doesn't end here!
In addition to the possibility of participating in the super tour with guide to the discovery of'Snai San Siro Racecourse (with a single ticket at 20 euros per person for adults only), with the opportunity to visit the Weight building, a place inaccessible to the public, le starting cages of the race, with return transport by shuttle, and the stables, to admire the horses before and after their performance on the track, returns on carriage ride pulled by two horses inside the Botanical Park of the Milanese equestrian facility. An evocative and, at times, fairy-tale experience!
On the track, as mentioned, a day with high technical points and hard-fought races: among these the Charterhouse Award and Emanuele Filiberto Award, the first a sprint for horses of all ages, while the second is the traditional preparatory test for the Rome Derby.
