Horses on the track from 15pm. Anticipation is mounting for the Ambrosiano Prize scheduled for Saturday

All 'Snai San Siro racecourse last Wednesday of April which promises to be fun and which coincides with the 10th day of the season. After the beautiful Sunday with 2 thousand spectators admiring the Certosa Prize and the Emanuele Filiberto Prize, the galloping calendar continues with two other events: in addition to the 24th, in fact, there is the expected Saturday 27 with plans for Ambrosian Prize, a Group III race reserved for horses aged 4 years and over, but also theSpring handicap and BBag Award, conditioned for 3 year old females.

In the meantime, let's focus on what will happen this Wednesday with a structured meeting on you ran starting 15 pm: 30 in which the first seasonal race for foals in Milan emerges which recalls the passionate horse owner Frederick Leitner, then the San Siro Circuit Award, with 3-year-old horses having a maiden available on the mile of medium track, and as a highlight the traditional handicap on the double kilometer of medium track for 3-year-old horses in memory of Maslogarth, the San Siro mascot who passed away in 2014 where he has remained living since 1995, the year his competitive career ended. Maslogarth raced and won from the ages of 2 to 11 and represented in the best way the close relationship that exists between a man and a horse. In addition, he taught many children who approached riding and was a very valid support for those who chose the profession of jockey.

So on Wednesday many memories with the opening of the gates of sports square 16 already from 13 with single ticket at 5 euros for adults only and with the possibility of entertaining oneself lunch at restaurants Leonardo's Buvette, near the entrance fountain of the equestrian facility, or at Dvca Garden and Parioli in the Leonardo's Horse area, or enjoy a simple coffee or an aperitif at Turf Bar or Tondino kiosk. But let's find out the program.

PROGRAM – 15 PM

FIRST RACE – FRANCO BARALDI AWARD

The afternoon starts with the riders and riders engaged in a 2.000 meter handicap reminiscent of Franco Baraldi. Round and round, the right time may have come for Lechro, who presents himself with a growing form and above all with a recent second place which represents a number that could be enough to close the accounts here. For The Faithful and Zaandam have returned in a timid manner but equally deserve respect for their origins and Agent Zero himself is not shining but returns to his habitat finding ally terrain. Kraram will also be in the foreground, a fresh winner who has already scored in the past with her gentleman rider in the saddle.

SECOND RACE – FEDERICO LEITNER PRIZE

Here is the first race of the year for 2-year-old colts, the traditional claiming in which it will be valuable to monitor the movements of the bets, as well as a particularly careful examination of the round and perhaps even picking up some news filtered by the track radio. A slight preference goes to Feeling Right, with a fast and probably precocious pedigree and slightly more captivating than the others. However, all the training courses present work excellently with the foals, with Far Oer and De La Treble following in the evaluation awaiting the above suggestions.

THIRD RACE – SAN SIRO MILE PRIZE – 2ND ELIMINATOR

It is the first qualifying round to be held in Milan on the San Siro Mile Circuit, on the 1.600 meter medium track for seniors. First of all it will be necessary to honor the old Katsumoto, twice winner of the Mile, who however is struggling with his return, and if Joyful will be among the most popular in a very logical way seeing how he is behaving, at the end of the fair you can try at a price more delicious with It Is Now, which arrives with a couple of certainly valid performances and which should find a favorable tactical scheme. Sopran Papavera was reported to be making progress last time, while Isabel Queen can easily rehabilitate herself after running a little below expectations in her most recent event.

FOURTH RACE – SAN SIRO CIRCUIT PRIZE

In the second part of the program, the 3-year-old horses come into action, having a maiden at their disposal on the mile of medium track. Finch will once again be in pole position, who will surely find his day sooner or later but given that his placings are starting to be a bit too many, it could also be more interesting to turn to Wind Of Dream, who definitely needs running-in in his return , as well as a little more experience, and now expected the best. Between Danilo and Pontormo they made an interesting debut over short distances and will race in progress, and together with an Aramis who is also expected to improve, they form a second line not willing to make discounts. Watch out for the betting on the new Teseo.

FIFTH RACE – MASLOGARTH AWARD

For 3-year-olds there is also the traditional handicap on the double kilometer of a very good medium category track reminiscent of Maslogarth. A decidedly selective and competitive context, where many count, certainly including Hedonism, who made his debut very well in handicap, suggesting very clearly that he wants this distance. The recent winners Nightliner and Night Of Dreams are running quickly both with new colors to take advantage of the top form of the period, while Zebra has shown growth, finding ground and distance. Stamper himself can redeem a less than brilliant last appearance and have his say.

SIXTH RACE – SAN SIRO CLASSIC PRIZE – 1ST ELIGINATOR

The midweek at the Snai San Siro Hippodrome in Milan ends with the first Eliminatory of the San Siro Classic, on the double kilometer of medium track for ages 4 and over. Despite the handicapper's reaction and despite a shorter distance, Angel who won far and wide the last time calmly has an encore in the pipeline and almost forces us to follow his chance. Addaveni is probably the first rival after being beaten by a rival who then repeated himself, but Che Musica Maestro also harbors ambitions of revenge. Fight And Fight and the downgraded Ladridibiciclette can have their say, but so can Goldfinger who can redeem himself and Mulan who can move forward after returning.

Next appointment Saturday 27 April with the Ambrosiano and then the calendar of May offering nine days of racing.
