Cohen (Agem): "Ice, the ideal platform for meeting gaming associations"

(Jamma) Tracy Cohen, Europe director at Agem, described ICE Totally Gaming Expo the gaming event to be held in February at ExCel London (4th/5th/6th February), as 'the ideal platform to disseminate the word on what AGEM does and an important appointment for the future growth of the Association'. Her opinion reflects the thought of the international community of developers, suppliers, buyers, operators and regulators of the gaming sector who will meet in London for what is now considered to be the most important exhibition and congress program of the game.

AGEM is one of the 23 sector bodies that will be at ICE. Together with Agem will be present: International Association of Gaming Advisors, the American Gaming Association, Association of British Bookmakers, Business In Sport And Leisure, European Association for the Study of Gambling, eCogra, European Casino Association, Gaming Standards Association, GamCare, Gaming Regulators European Forum, International Masters of Gaming Law, Interactive Gaming Council, National Casino Forum, International Association of Gaming Regulators, Gambling Portal Web masters Association, National Gaming Academy, Remote Gambling Association, The Responsible Gambling Trust, European Gaming and Betting Association, European Sports Security Association, World Lottery Association and the Gambling Commission.

Kate Chambers, managing director for ICE, said: “As well as being the international business center for gaming, it is increasingly clear that ICE has also become the focal point for many of the world's most important associations, regulators and non-commercial organizations. It has long been widely accepted that the products launched at ICE represent the commercial future of gaming. In tandem with this, the policies and decisions made by commercial entities and non-commercial organizations at ICE will directly help the future of international business and determine how to adapt to major changes in markets and future challenges.

“As far as possible – added director Chambers – we work closely with colleagues from trade associations to support them in their participation in ICE. For 2014 we have created a new world-class network in collaboration with the International Association of Gaming Advisors, International Association of Gaming Regulators, the European Casino Association and the National Casino Forum. Inaugurated by the World Regulatory Assembly at ICE, the free-to-enter event will open with an evening cocktail on Monday evening at the Tower of London and will be followed by the World Regulatory Briefing, a day of in-depth discussions focusing on regulatory updates in key jurisdictions for the industry".
