Lecco. From the IDV the proposal: lower taxes for those who eliminate the slots from the premises

(Jamma) After months of meetings, demonstrations and torchlight processions against the spread of gambling, a new proposal is presented by the municipality to discourage the spread of public games. A 20% discount on the waste tax has been thought of for bars and public establishments that decide to ban slot machines from their premises.

The proposal comes from the municipal group leader of Italia dei Valori Ezio Venturini who just yesterday registered an amendment to the resolution of point 3 on the agenda which will be discussed in the next City Council which concerns Tares and in particular bars and businesses public.

"We ask you to add the following sentence to the resolution in point 3 - explains Venturini - 'all bars and clubs that decide not to put, or even remove, slot machines, will be entitled to a twenty percent reduction on the waste tax '. For now I prefer not to comment – comments Venturini himself – But I want to see how the majority will react ”.
