Security, fight against all forms of crime and fight against gambling addiction. With these assumptions, on the evening of September 25th the administrative team of the Pas division of the Padua Police Headquarters, together with personnel from the Local Police of Padua, the Guardia di Finanza, the Territorial Labor Inspectorate, the Prevention Service and the Food Hygiene and Nutrition Service, carried out the administrative control of several commercial businesses in Padua, aimed at intensifying the relationship of trust and symbiosis with the citizens with a view to preventing crimes. Some irregularities were detected in two commercial establishments, which resulted in sanctions. Overall, the activity led to the identification of 51 people. An inspection involved a bar in via Vecellio: from the checks it emerged that the 7 slot machine machines present were turned on and used by customers despite the fact that it was in the time slot from 18pm to 20pm which, by regional legislation, provides for closure to the public for combat gambling addiction. The manager will pay a fine of 3.500 euros, effectively 500 euros for each slot found turned on out of hours.
