During services aimed at the economic control of the territory, the soldiers of the Provincial Command of Padua carried out targeted access to various commercial establishments, ascertaining three violations of the regional provisions on the prevention and treatment of gambling disorder and three irregularities in the sector of illegal and irregular work.
In particular, the Financiers of the Compagnia di Cittadella, following a preliminary information activity, carried out an inspection within three food supply activities, located in the Municipalities of San Martino di Lupari (PD) and Curtarolo (PD) , noting the switching on of 15 entertainment devices, freely accessible to the public, in the gaming interruption time slot imposed by the regional laws in force (07.00/09.00 – 13.00/15.00 – 18.00/20.00).
In relation to three further economic entities operating in the upper Padua area, however, the inspection activities made it possible to ascertain the presence of two workers employed without prior communication of the start of the work service and of an irregular family worker, without his own insurance position .
The checks in question have made it possible to report to the Municipalities, bodies responsible for the imposition of financial sanctions, violations of the hourly limitations on gaming, quantified between a minimum of €7.500 and a maximum of €22.500, while, in relation to irregularities of the confirmed work positions, the Territorial Labor Inspectorate and INAIL were involved, raising administrative sanctions ranging from a minimum of €2.400 up to a maximum of €13.800.
