The Termini Imerese Police closed down the internet point of a bar in the town for 30 days, following a specific order issued by the Customs and Monopolies Agency.

The police officers confiscated the 2 computers of the aforementioned business, which were already the subject of an administrative seizure carried out previously.

The closure of the Internet Point, in which both the agents of the Termini Imerese police station and the staff of the State Customs and Monopolies Agency were involved, closed a sanctioning process relating to an inspection access, carried out in November 2019 , always carried out jointly by the officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency and the policemen of the police station.

During this inspection, it was found that the owner of the commercial activity had 2 non-compliant video terminals in use, used by customers as "indirect gaming" stations.

Due to these irregularities, an administrative fine of 10.000 euros was imposed on the owner of the Internet Point for each of the irregular stations, while the related devices were subjected, as has already been mentioned, to administrative seizure.
