(Jamma) The Police Headquarters of Prato has notified a 63-year-old Chinese citizen of the temporary suspension of the license to collect legitimate gaming through video terminal equipment (VLT) for having abusively engaged in the collection of bets without the necessary permissions.
Following an assessment carried out as part of targeted services to combat illegal gambling as well as the phenomenology of gambling addiction (so-called gambling addiction), the protection of minors and vulnerable subjects, on 28 June the staff of the Administrative Police of the local division, together with the inspection staff of the Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS) carried out a check at an amusement arcade located in Montemurlo (PO). The personnel operating during the control activity ascertained that the owner, a Chinese citizen, was illegally carrying out the activity of collecting bets without having requested any police authorization pursuant to art. 88 TULPS For this reason, the personnel proceeded to confiscate 6 computers used for collection as well as advertising material for the gaming activity promoted by the room under control.
