The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) has fined LCS Limited €2.074.000 for offering online gambling games to players in the Netherlands on the website www.sonsofslots.com without a license.

In August 2022, LCS Limited was fined 165.000 euros with an invitation to immediately cease and desist from the illicit offer.

René Jansen, president of the KSA said: “A sanction order is often a very effective method to immediately stop illegal supply. However, illegal providers who subsequently go dark should not think that they have “corrupted” their illegal activities: even previously committed violations can be punished. Furthermore, we continue to carry out double checks to verify whether the supply has actually been and will continue to be interrupted."

The amount of the fine imposed by the KSA was determined on the basis of the regulator's current fine policy, which takes into account, among other things, the turnover achieved in the Netherlands.
