The new scratch card launched in France is called “Mission Nature” with the aim of raising citizens' awareness by giving them the opportunity to support concrete and ambitious projects in favor of biodiversity.
After the success of the "Mining Mission", the Finance Act has scheduled the launch of a new scratch card for 2023. Sold for 3 euros, this game is available at FDJ stores and online, or in tobacconists. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the French Biodiversity Office for biodiversity recovery projects in the territories.
To select these projects, a call for projects was launched in March 2023 by the French Biodiversity Office.
20 projects were selected, divided into two categories:
- Projects emblematic: large-scale projects, with a large positive impact on ecosystems and their restoration, and which promote habitats or heritage species at a national level.
- Projects in network: projects of significant size, with a regional or local impact on the ecosystems or species in question.
