(Jamma) The decree of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of 12 July 3 was published in the Official Gazette of 2013 August 2013 establishing the national lottery with deferred draw for XNUMX. As already announced, taking into account the results of the recent deferred lotteries called, the current landscape of the gaming sector and the progressive reduction in the sale of lottery tickets, a single national lottery with deferred drawing has also been identified for 2013 : the Italian Lottery.

THE MINISTER OF THE ECONOMY AND FINANCE
Given the law of 4 August 1955, n. 722, and subsequent modifications;
Given the art. 1, paragraph 2 of the aforementioned legislation, which provides for the issue of a special decree from the Minister of Finance for this announcement, after hearing the opinion of the competent parliamentary commissions;
Given the art. 21, paragraph 6 of the decree-law of 1 July 2009, n. 78, converted into law 3 August 2009, n. 102, which reserved the management and exercise of national lotteries with deferred draws to the Ministry of Economy and Finance - Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies;
Considering that it is necessary to identify the national lotteries for the year 2013, taking into account the results of the most recent deferred lotteries called and the current panorama of the gaming sector;
Considering that in recent years there has been a progressive reduction in the sale of deferred lotteries tickets, and that, consequently, the overall number of deferred lotteries to be held for each year has been progressively reduced over time;
Considering that in order to optimize the results and ensure a significant relaunch of the sector, it was deemed appropriate to foresee the announcement of a single national lottery with deferred drawing for the year 2013;
Considering, also, that it is necessary to guarantee a longer period of permanence on the ticket market and to ensure, at the same time, interactive modalities through the connection with radio-television shows, which can help to reawaken interest in this type of lotteries;
Given the opinions expressed by the special commissions of the Senate of the
Republic and the Chamber of Deputies;
Decrees:
The following national lottery with deferred drawing has been identified for 2013:
1. Lottery Italy.
This decree will be sent to the Court of Auditors for registration and will be published in the Official Journal of the
Italian republic.
