(Jamma) An important day for the workers of the Sanremo Casino, called to vote on the second agreement from 8 to 24, but for many there is a risk of a new rejection.
Bruno Barbaro (Snalc-Cisal) reaffirms what his trade union said during the general meeting convened yesterday to explain to employees the terms of the agreement which is being voted on today.
"This referendum was organized in a hurry, without giving the workers time to reflect on the terms" - continues Bruno Barbaro - "also we have not seen the text of the agreement displayed on the company bulletin boards".
“The overall decrease of 28% in wages is given by many other items” – concludes the trade union representative of Snalc – “this agreement provides for the annual loss of 60% of the severance indemnity over the two-year period, a 75% reduction in the fourteenth of 1% of the complementary pension, the blocking of any automatism or seniority increment, the abolition of 2 euros per day indemnity for cleaning clothes, three unpaid days per year”.
