San Remo casino. Decisive hours for the approval of the anti-redundancy agreement
(Jamma) The opening of a negotiating table mediated by the Territorial Labor Directorate of Imperia to define an agreement in which the withdrawal of the collective dismissal procedure is established and in which the workers are not harassed but called to make the right sacrifices to help secure the Company's business continuity. This is the request made by the Snal union against the start of the procedure which could lead to the dismissal of 123 employees of the Sanremo casino.
"Considering - reads the Snalc note - that on 24 April 2013 Casino SpA communicated to the oo.ss., slc - cgil, fisascat - cisl, uilcom - uil, snalc - cisal, ugl, the start of the collective dismissal pursuant to articles 4 and 24 of law no. 223 of 23 July 1991, quantifying in n. 123 redundancies; that Casino SpA has communicated the start of the collective dismissal procedure also to the Territorial Directorate of Labor of Imperia, the Municipality of Sanremo, the Province of Imperia, the Prefecture of Imperia, Confindustria Imperia, the Policies and Services Sector for Employment of the Liguria Region, to the Active Labor Policies Sector, Vocational Training, Social Services, Employment Centers of the Province of Imperia and for information to the Ministry of Labour; that the undersigned received the communication from Casino SpA of the start of the collective dismissal procedure on 24 April 2013 and that on 29 April 2013 it requested that the parties proceed with the joint examination;
contested that the 45 days established by law for the joint review have expired and that no agreement was reached between the parties during this period; it is believed that the violation of the terms of the law of the procedural process of the collective dismissal could, among other things, have as a consequence the cancellation of the management acts implemented after the expiry of the terms”.
