The controls of the Carabinieri Company of Novi Ligure (AL) continue to prevent crimes and "bad nightlife" in the city. During the last service carried out over the weekend, four patrols from other stations in the area also arrived to support the Gazzelle Novi and concentrated in particular on the central areas of the city.
During the service, checkpoints were set up along the main roads and areas where public order and safety problems had occurred in the past were checked, such as Viale Saffi, Piazza Indipendenza, Galleria Perelli and Piazza XX Settembre.
Controls also extended to bars, betting rooms and abandoned buildings. Among the people checked, three were then reported to the Prefecture because they were found in possession of hashish for human use. Both of them were also found to be illegal on the national territory.
