(Jamma) The theme of pathological gambling is incandescent and the Casinò Campione d'Italia is clearly entitled to report on it, as will happen in the press conference it convened in Milan on Friday 30 August to present the project for the implementation in Italy of the European excellence in the field of so-called gambling addiction. The Campione casino has always been committed to preventing forms of addiction in the sector, but at the juncture of liberalization it is proposing itself as a forerunner of a targeted and effective diagnostic-therapeutic practice of which it wants to be a breeding ground.
The managing director of the Casinò Campione d'Italia will talk about it, Carlo Pagan, also as a director of the European Casino Association, ECA, the trade body which represents a thousand casinos from all over the continent and which in its program has placed the solution to the problem of gambling addiction as an absolute priority.
The mayor of Campione d'Italia will also speak in Milan Marita Piccaluga, the councilor for health of the Lombardy Region Mario Mantovani e Luciano Moia, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Avvenire, exponents, each in their own sphere, of a convergence from which it is legitimate to expect an articulated response to pathological gambling.
