Announcement 2000 agencies, the technical functional procedures of the network

(Jamma) With a note signed by Roberto Fanelli, ad interim central director of the Customs and Momopoli Agency, the technical-functional procedures of the telematic network of the concessionaires who participated in the tender for the 2000 agencies are communicated. Below is the text of the circular.

Paragraph 1 of article 19 of the draft Convention establishes that the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) carries out a technical-functional check of the dealer's telematic network, preparatory to the activation of the shop network.
This activity is aimed at verifying the validity and efficiency of the interface methods of the information systems adopted by the concessionaires with the national totalizer, according to the specifications indicated by ADM in the separate communication protocols for the various public games referred to in the subject, for the correct and exhaustive transmission of the data of interest and of any further element required by the Agreement and by the attached technical rules.
For the purposes of rapid activation of the new collection network, and in accordance with the principle of simplification of the administrative procedure, a simplified procedure for carrying out the technical-functional verification is set up, as provided for by paragraph 5 of the aforementioned article 19.
The obligation remains for the contractors to submit, in compliance with the provisions of the technical rules, the technical report in which the technical and functional characteristics of the telematic network are described, as well as the relative technological equipment.
The simplified procedure for carrying out the technical-functional check is divided into the following phases:
1. explicit adherence to the same by the interested tenderers;
2. indication for each type of game of the provider of the connectivity service already in place and whose work they intend to continue to use;
3. extension, by ADM, of the positive results of only the technical-functional checks already carried out for the types of game covered by the concession regimes in place at the date of signing.
For the above, and in particular in relation to point 3), the simplified procedure can only be applied to successful tenderers who have signed up to the previous conventional regimes (so-called "Bersani", "Giorgetti" and "Rinnovate"), as the in the past they have already passed the technical-functional verification for the types of games now covered by the new concession regime.

The subjects awarded the rights relating to public gaming shops, who intend to adhere to the simplified procedure for the technical-functional verification, must send it to the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM), at the following address:

Customs and Monopoly Agency Central Management of Taxes and Monopoly Games Betting Office
Via della Luce 34/a bis – 00153 – Rome – Italy

no later than the date of stipulation of the concession agreement, the explicit request to adhere to the same by completing and signing, by the legal or negotiating representative with the necessary powers, thespecific application form (attachment 1 to this circular) available on the Agency's internet portal.
Finally, it should be noted that adherence to the simplified procedure in question represents an option for the contractors, without prejudice to the possibility for ADM to carry out further technical-functional checks of the telematic network, in the case of technological adaptations and extraordinary maintenance.
