July is definitely not the ideal month of the year to bet. With the championship stopped for the summer break and the closures of shops, there is a drop in the interest of bettors.
But in which provinces did the most games take place?
According to data from the ADM, the province of Naples holds the record for the volume of bets and spending, with 451 million and 92,8 million respectively.
Followed by Rome with 246 million bets and 43,1 million spent (played minus winnings). In the province of Milan 158 million were placed in bets, for a consideration of 31 million spent. Caserta and Bari are the other provinces where interest in this type of game remains constant with 21 million spent and 20 million for the latter.
