La Sinnermania it exploded, as imaginable, all over the world. The blue tennis player (in the photo) after the epic comeback against Daniil Medvedev which gave him the Australian Open, the first Slam of his career, he doesn't want to stop but looks forward. The amazing Jannik's rise to world tennis is certified by the numbers: until the beginning of 2023, Sinner had beaten one of the Top 5 in the ATP rankings on only one occasion out of 16 attempts. Today the victories have risen to 14 but 10 in the last 11 direct clashes. It is therefore normal that the first position in the world rankings is the next target for the South Tyrolean phenomenon: the Sisal experts they see World's number 1 sinner, by 2024, 3,50.

In this moment of collective exaltation, fans and professionals are wondering where Jannik can reach, perhaps reaching that peak that not even the Big Three, Djokovic, Federer and Nadal, in strict alphabetical order, have been able to reach: the Grand Slam. The only one in the men's field to succeed in the feat, in the Open era, remains Rod Laver, present yesterday in the stands of Melbourne in the stadium dedicated to him. Repeating that sporting miracle, taking home, in the same year, the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open, could however be in the blue's way in the short/medium term: Sinner hitting the Grand Slam within the next three years would pay 25 times the post.
