In a betting agency Greek's tower a man made two bets for a total amount of 1.500 euros and walked away without paying.
For this reason i Carabinieri of the operational section of the Torre del Greco company carried out a precautionary custody order in prison, issued by the investigating judge of Torre Annunziata at the request of the local prosecutor's office, against a 30-year-old from Arzano seriously suspected of the crime of extortion.
The order was carried out in the Poggioreale prison in Naples, where he was already detained for similar facts.
According to what was reconstructed from the investigations, conducted by the soldiers of the operational section of the Torre del Greco Company and coordinated by the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office, on the afternoon of 2 December last the man, inside the city betting agency, asked the terminal operator to place two bets, for the total amount of 1.500 euros, without however paying and leaving the premises despite the vain attempt of the gaming clerk to obtain payment, threatening him with more serious consequences if he persisted in his intention.
