A new museum, two new works of contemporary art and a great name in entertainment who will tell them as only he knows how: the second season of Art is Open , whereby TGI wants to bring contemporary art to the attention of the general public thanks to an innovative communication project that recounts timeless masterpieces, in an ironic and engaging way.

The acute irony of Blacks Marcorè (in the photo) allows art to reach everyone through the shortest and most exciting path: that of the smile with two new episodes in collaboration with the MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts, to discover two works from the Museum's collection, by Michelangelo Pistoletto e Patrick Tuttofuoco.

The first episode tells the story ofSelf-portrait from behind (2021) of Michelangelo Pistoletto, a work in which the point of view of the artist, portrayed from behind, coincides with that of the observer and both become spectators of the reflected environment. Neri Marcorè interprets the many reactions and approaches of the public, in an engaging game of points of view.

In the second episode the installation is described On the corner where we stand (2006) of Patrick Tuttofuoco. A misunderstanding between the visitor Marcorè and the museum keeper, played by Marco Presta, becomes an opportunity to discover four large sculptures that represent as many rapidly expanding megacities - Delhi, Beijing, Bombay and Shanghai - and invite reflection on the uncontrolled urban development of these areas.

After the first date with Art is Open which in 2022 saw four comedians narrate as many works of art from the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art with a one-on-one dialogue with art, this year we will remain in Rome, but we will move to MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts, with which IGT has been linked since its opening.

The IGT format, Art is Open, designed by EPIK JOHANNES and produced by Indiana Productions directed by Tobia Passigato, is based on the value of accessibility to art, treated as the highest form of entertainment. So who better than a great artist like Neri Marcorè could describe two great works of art?

With Art is Open, TGI continues to promote art and culture. The company, a world leader in the regulated gaming sector and state gaming concessionaire in Italy Lotto and Scratch Cards, has always been closely linked to the protection and enhancement of the artistic and cultural heritage and, over time, has contributed to the implementation of numerous conservation and restoration interventions throughout the country.

"We wanted an innovative communication project to bring the widest possible audience closer to culture, describing contemporary art in a fun way." claimed Enrica Ronchini, External Relations & Responsible gaming Senior Director. “In this way, IGT continues to support art with the aim of sharing the beauty of our common cultural heritage."

explains Giorgia Crepaldi, VP Business Development at EPIK JOHANNES: “Art is OPEN” is once again an experiential story of art signed by IGT, in the experiential place par excellence, that is, a museum. Compared to the first season, through the cinematographic language we have brought onto the scene not one, but many possible audiences and interpreters of art and their way of experiencing it, in a feedback game that makes people not only spectators, but protagonists themselves in the story".
