The economic-financial police activities of all the Fiamme Gialle of the Labronica province continue incessantly, coordinated by the Livorno Provincial Command, in order to prevent and combat violations, this time, in the gaming and minor protection sectors. This, also following reports from some mothers who complained that their minor children were allowed, by some betting shops, to place bets and therefore spend the "pocket money" given to them.
During an inspection of the customers of a business in the present sector of the capital, a patrol of financiers actually identified a minor who, as soon as he left the business, had in his hand the receipt for a bet he had just made, for a match of the football championship. The continuation of the internal check confirmed the irregular behavior of the betting shop, given that it is absolutely forbidden to allow children under the age of 18 to gamble.
The military then accused the owner of the business of violating Legislative Decree 98/2011, which provides for a heavy administrative fine of over 6 thousand euros, as well as the additional sanction of closing the business for a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 30 days.
A detailed report has been forwarded to the Customs and Monopolies Agency, which will be able to evaluate the appropriate measures.
