“We must play responsibly, but the actions implemented to date do not stop the space for pathological drift. The goal of this project is to inspire responsible gaming to the player. We studied player behavior, moving from theory to practice. Obviously it is useless to whisper a path to those who do not want to follow it. The key thing is prevention. We went to the gaming rooms and outside the businesses where you play Lotto and scratch cards to understand the points where nudges could be used. We identified the walls we needed to demolish and ran a nudge lab, creating lots of nudges. At the end of this journey we have identified three points where it is possible to intervene: optimize the number of bets and games for healthy fun, reduce playing time, encourage breaks during the game. Where the player feels at ease there is collective well-being. The goal is to help the player stop playing when he is no longer responsible. Obviously not everyone is a gambling addict."

He said so Sonia Biondi, Business Unit Manager of BVA Doxa & LUMSA Teacher, speaking in Rome at the LUMSA University at the presentation of the project - conducted by BVA Doxa and BVA Nudge Consulting - entitled "Kindly Responsabili - Behavioral sciences for conscious gaming".
