Two computer stations for placing online bets, ready for use, and without any authorization: this is what was found in recent days in Cirò, by the Carabinieri of the Cirò Marina Company (KR) and by the staff of the Customs and Monopolies Agency of Catanzaro, following an inspection at a private club.

The patrons, in fact, as noted by the operators, after having regularly purchased their top-ups, could use the two computer stations illegally made available within the club by the owner, to independently place their bets, in contrast with various rules provided for by the Consolidated Law on Public Safety and by special laws. The equipment has been seized against the owner, as well as a substantial administrative fine, which may vary from €20.000 to €50.000, and will be imposed by the Customs and Monopolies Agency.
