Fabio Schiavolin, Snaitech CEO, speaks at SBC Summit Barcelona 2023: «The real revolution is not in the channel used but in providing customers with spaces in which to share experiences, skills, passions, ability to forecast and much more» 

It's ongoing these days SBC Summit Barcelona 2023, one of the largest international events for the legal gaming sector which every year brings together the main players, experts and leaders of the industry.  

Fabio Schiavolin, CEO of Snaitech, participated in the day of Wednesday 20 September as a speaker within the panel "Re-inventing omnichannel – the case for entertainment first experiences”. In his contribution, Schiavolin emphasized the need to go beyond the now outdated concept of omnichannel and then described Snaitech's approach built and founded precisely on the importance of the consumer rather than on the choice of the reference channel - retail or online. 

«The concept of omnichannel, in addition to being difficult and fully implemented due to the multiple regulatory barriers in force in many European markets, is also probably overcome by a concept of multichannel which allows the consumer to continuously experience not only the gaming experience , but also, and increasingly, that of entertainment. We are in a 4.0 era where the boundary between the physical, the digital and the virtual no longer exists or is perceived differently. The real revolution is therefore not in the channel used but in providing customers with spaces in which to share experiences, skills, passions, ability to forecast and much more. For this reason, in addition to strengthening all digital engagement channels, we are also developing a new concept of point of sale that becomes a truly modern "sports agora" in which to fully enjoy socializing and sharing an experience beyond, obviously, to access our gaming services" – declared Fabio Schiavolin. 

Schiavolin recounted the transformation of the market starting from the years of the pandemic which - with the consequent closure of shops for over a year - led to an important evolution of the sector. In this situation, Snaitech has tried to identify the opportunities generated by the crisis, emphasizing even more the interconnection between channels and between physical and digital experiences. Faced with an ever-changing market, the only constant thus becomes the centrality of the consumer, achievable through the tool of innovation.  

For Snaitech, innovation does not mean research and indiscriminate use of technology, but an approach aimed atnew explorations, new horizons and new challenges, such as anticipating consumer trends, courageously communicating one's identity and solutions and above all guaranteeing a rich, fresh, passionate and entertaining offer. Dynamism, innovation and customer-oriented approach have allowed Snaitech constant growth for several consecutive years, the first half of 2023 is no exception: in the results just released by Playtech, a multinational gaming and betting company present in Italy through Snaitech, one emerges revenue growth at 30 June 2023 to 488.4 million euros (+10% compared to the first half of 2022) it's aincrease in adjusted EBITDA by 12%, reaching 141,9 million euros, thanks to the growth of both retail and online.
