The event to present the data from the new survey carried out with the Piepoli Institute is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 17 October, from 9.30 to 12.30 in the Sala Zuccari of the Senate of the Republic “Sold to Minors”, year 2023. The event is promoted by Moige and concerns minors' access to unsuitable prohibited products: alcohol, tobacco, gambling, cannabis, pornography, 18+ video games, counterfeit products.
Why do our children come into contact with products that are prohibited by law or are unsuitable? How many are aware of the ban on sales to minors? Is those who sell them aware of the damage they cause to minors? Are production chains aware of who uses their product? Are these prohibitions reported and, above all, respected?

The event will answer these fundamental questions through the interventions of the speakers moderated by Raffaele Barberio, director of Key4biz, and introduced by the data of the executive president of the Piepoli institute Livio Gigliuto.

This will then be followed by speeches by Maurizio Gasparri, Vice President of the Senate of the Republic; Eugenia Roccella, Minister for the family, birth rate and equal opportunities; Maria Teresa Bellucci, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policies; Sandra Savino, Undersecretary, MEF – Ministry of Economy and Finance; Gianni Letta, Laura Aria, AGCOM Commissioner; Giorgio Stefano Manzi, Colonel of the Carabinieri; Domenico Distant, President National Association of State Gaming Managers and many other influential speakers.

It will also be possible to follow the event in streaming, from 10.00 am, at this link: webtv.senato.it
