“Tobacconists are dealers like us, we are two worlds that represent the best quality of coverage in the area of the products made available to consumers. We can best represent the institutions and characteristics with which choices will have to be made to ground this reorganization. The Government has done what it said, it has launched a comprehensive regulation and has started to implement decrees. If they allow us, we will represent the work we will do in the Commission through a formal document. There must be a defense of the consumer, of legal gaming and of the offer which in Italy is at the forefront in the world. With this reorganization, the hope is that the Italian model can be even more visionary in the years to come. There must be a correct relationship between the State, territories and citizens."
The institutional relations director of IGT said this, Alberto Giorgetti (in the photo), speaking in Rome at the press conference that Fit-Sts and Agic (Association of Gaming and Entertainment in Concession) have called, in anticipation of the imminent reorganization of the gaming sector, to present the agreement between the tobacconists-concessionaires of the State and the four largest state concessionaires of public games.
