Salfi. The workers of the former AAMS are not second-class employees

(Jamma) "For the sake of the truth and because colleagues of the former AAMS have the right to evaluate who seriously participates in trade unions - reads a note from Confsal-Salfi - it is good to briefly recall here that the problems, recently highlighted also in documents claims, have long been the subject of attention and claims by Salfi.

Salfi, in November 2012, in the context of the employer's information on the well-known unification, clearly highlighted not only the particular situation in which the aforementioned workers who passed through the Customs Agency found themselves but also the penalties they would have suffered, also due to closures of offices, omitted equalization wages, uncertainties and organizational delays, and more.

Even then we affirmed with conviction the erroneous political decision which would have caused, among other things, especially in terms of ancillary salary, negative repercussions for former AAMS workers, given the different structure and negotiation of ancillary salary between the two entities under review.
During the current year and pending the legislator formalizing a definitive decision on the aforementioned structure, at least problematic, Salfi has shown, in the center and in the periphery, the utmost attention and protection for the interests of the category of workers in question.
In fact, there were various interventions: during the discussion on the Conventions, where all the aspects that prevented and still prevent an optimal functioning of the peripheral structures were highlighted and in particular the need for professionalisation, the need for additional resources to invest in periphery, the renewal of certain conventions for controls, the conservation of certain specific accessories and more.
On Salfi's initiative, the first pilot appeals were launched for the equalization of the Administration allowance.
Lastly, the intervention for the release of the 2011 ancillary salary, which risked being blocked at registration.
We worked in close synergy with the periphery and well appreciated the various documents prepared by the staff, especially on the intolerability of the serious state of uncertainty that has persisted for too long on the future of the government project that gave rise to the well-known "unification".
On this point, we made various interventions in the Finance Commission and with the competent Undersecretary, given that the solution to the many problems on the table today depends on the government's response.
Salfi has never allowed the Administration to consider the workers of the former AAMS of the second category and intends even more today to press the heads of the Customs to support the solutions formalized by Salfi on behalf of the workers and summarized by the staff in the document of 19 September us.
We guarantee that all the territorial structures of Salfi are available to the personnel concerned, also for further reports of new inconveniences and disservices, which will be promptly and formally brought to the attention of the administrative, agency and political leaders.
Finally, we also work through coordination, operational meetings in the suburbs and in the center and we will soon warn the Government to formulate a definitive decision on the merged structures, which must be placed in a position to operate efficiently and economically, eliminating paralysis and delays but, above all, unequal treatment.
