The 12-hour training course proposed by the trade association has been approved
At the start a Molfetta (BA) the mandatory training course on the risks of pathological gambling. The role of the Municipality is fundamental in combating this phenomenon, as the course itself becomes mandatory after the municipal resolution, based on Regional Law n. 43 of December 2013.
This measure is foreseen within the Puglia Regional Law n.43 of 20/12/2013 “Counteracting the spread of pathological gambling”, modified and integrated by LR n. 21 of 17/6/2019.
The resolution was approved by the municipal council last February 28, in the presence of the mayor of Molfetta, Tommaso Minervini and the general secretary, Ernesto Lozzi. The same resolution was published on the municipal noticeboard on 07 March 2024.
For this Confesercenti Bari offers a 12-hour course to combat the spread of pathological gambling.

• the managers and all staff of betting centers and spaces for gaming with cash winnings
• the managers and all staff of amusement arcades that host slot machines with cash prizes;
• the managers and all the staff of bars and tobacconists who have slot machines with cash prizes
