“The horse racing operators, given the dispute between Hippogroup Roma Capannelle and Roma Capitale, have lost, to date, approximately 500.000,00 euros which have not been distributed due to the failure to hold the races at the Roma Capannelle racecourse. Obviously there is the possibility of recovering these lost days, but this possibility will disappear if Roma Capitale does not find an agreement in a very short time, as we were guaranteed, with Hippogroup Roma Capannelle". “Despite the commitment on the part of MASAF and in particular of the Senator, Undersecretary of State, Giacomo la Pietra to freeze the races pending the desired resolution of the relationship between Roma Capitale and Hippogroup, the discontent among the operators is growing ever stronger as to have determined them to initiate all the necessary procedures to organize a series of demonstrations, an exasperation due, moreover, to the reassurances received from Roma Capitale on 30 August and which to date appear absolutely unfounded", continues the note.
“The affair between Roma Capitale and Hippogroup Roma Capannelle must be resolved once and for all, it is no longer tolerable that the operators, cyclically, have to endure such a situation, that Roma Capitale decides who to entrust the management of the racecourse to once and for all ”, conclude Pansini and Faticoni.
