“Today all companies are evaluating whether it is no longer necessary to have to choose between economic revenue and social responsibility, thinking about the ways in which a balance can be built between these two objectives”.
Thus Maurizio Benzi he communicated during the presentation of the FAIR Foundation and then described the programs of the Foundation's scientific committee.
“We can take inspiration – said Benzi – from the thought that maintained that every company had an ethical responsibility towards its own community, which means the community of origin, the common customers, the community that in some way we begin to see and from this the logic of the foundation also arises because the acronym FAIR means listening, innovation, research on responsible gaming, key elements for the awareness that can only start from very precise data, facts and analyses. This is the path that the foundation begins to build by dealing with psychological and social dynamics, economic and communication aspects which are fundamental elements.
As a Scientific Committee we thought of starting from people, of putting people at the center of the mechanism, there is no one-size-fits-all solution but we need to get into the merits, understand people's behaviour, the things they have in common, what distinguishes them. Only in this way, by understanding listening, can we understand how to build responsible gaming dynamics. This also concerns communication, we want to understand how the word "responsible gaming" itself is transmitted, both at an institutional level and at the level of individual operators. It often seems like a somewhat empty message, but in reality you can understand how effective it is, how communication initiatives lead to results.
Careful communication, using nudge logic for example, can provide people with all the tools necessary to allow them to protect themselves.
Another topic that will change our lives in the next 10 years is artificial intelligence which will involve many dynamics, we have started to discuss this point and how to guarantee scientific precision and neutrality of research activity.
It is of fundamental importance to be able to guarantee analyzes from multiple operators in order to study the behavior of the digital world which has had double-digit growth in recent years".
