“Since the beginning of this century, a particular industrial sector has been created, which has brought together a series of Italian companies, especially medium and small ones, and has employed 100-150 thousand individuals and therefore families who are supported by this type of activity. We are talking about something quite important. According to the latest studies, in Italy the target audience appears to be around 21 million players, meaning those who play at least once a month. Of these, approximately 89% are basically at zero risk, 9% at limited risk and the remainder at moderate or high risk. This is a market in a phase of constant and continuous growth, characterized by a very high substitution index of the products that are part of it".

The lawyer said so Armando Iaccarino (pictured), president of the As.Tro Study Center, speaking at the round table "The territorial question: in search of a sustainable balance" as part of the Italian Gaming Expo & Conference underway in Rome.
