As many as 227 gaming halls have closed over the last year. This is what the report drawn up by ANESAR, a trade association of Spanish gaming operators, reveals on the state of the sector.

The drop, in percentage terms, is 6% compared to a year ago. Admissions fell by 12%. There are 4200 fewer slots in the area, with an average of less than 10 machines per game room.

In 2021 there were 19.350 employees in the gaming hall sector, 8398 in Binfo rooms and 7200 in casinos. The management of limited win slots employs a total of 8745 workers.
