“Today we are all here together to carry forward the idea of controlling and restricting the distribution of gambling in the area. The alarming news is that recently, with the reorganization of gambling underway, there was a meeting between regions and autonomous provinces, which proposed that part of the gambling revenues be redistributed between them, with the majority of Government which made itself available to satisfy this request. The concern is that a process can be started that facilitates the granting of new licenses in the area."
Senator M5S said it, Luigi Nave (in the photo), speaking at the conference "New gambling addiction alarm with the opening of new gaming halls" organized today in the Senate by the same parliamentarian in collaboration with Agcai (Association of Entertainment Machine Managers and Manufacturers).
“This is a battle of common sense. I also see the industrial side, but it is important to return to the conditions in which there was a controlled loss. I will make your requests my own and during the hearing and amendment phase the M5S will do everything possible. We must prevent the Government from being able to further tax citizens who are already oppressed and perhaps suffer from pathologies, just because they are unable to raise funds elsewhere. There is no way the State is making money on its citizens, especially the most deprived ones", concluded Nave.
