The CDP ASTRO meeting took place yesterday during which the Association outlined its line of action in reference to the new phase that the sector is preparing to face in terms of reorganization.
On the one hand, the opening of the technical table between the MEF and the Regions officially inaugurates the reorganization phase of physical gaming, on the other the imminent conclusion of the approval process of the decree on online reorganization marks the start of the implementation phase of the itself and also leads to an acceleration in the times for calling the tender for the assignment of online concessions.
At the end of the meeting it was therefore decided to align the association's positioning document on the reorganization with the latest regulatory developments and to set up a restricted commission on the reorganization of physical gaming which will have the main task - also through the strengthening of institutional interlocutions - of proactively following the approval process thereof.
With reference to the reorganization of online gaming, the association will monitor the implementation phase of the rules contained in the legislative decree on the reorganization of online gaming, with particular regard to the regulation of the tender, and will try to intervene if any critical issues arise.
As regards the Uni>erso Astro project, the space for analysis and comparison that the Association has made available to members who intend to participate in the future tender - either through participation in one or more aggregations between companies already belonging to the association that by participating alone in the tender, or by connecting with external parties -, to allow them to analyze in full autonomy the new scenarios - also in terms of entrepreneurial strategies - opened by the start of the reorganization of the sector, the first meeting was set for the The start of the works which will be held in Rome on March 21st.
