On the evening of 26 February, Arma personnel from the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Modena Company and the Viale Tassoni Station, as part of periodic services to verify administrative authorizations and patrons of public places, carried out a check at a bingo hall . In the circumstance, 30 customers were identified.

Checks on clubs, especially at night, which entertain customers at slot machines, are often carried out with the aim of ascertaining whether games which allow cash winnings are allowed to minors, which is prohibited by sector regulations under penalty of heavy financial sanctions. The venue did not point out any such irregularities, however administrative fines were high since the slot machines were turned on during unauthorized hours.
