Santarcangelo (RN) adheres to the 'no slot' manifesto

(Jamma) The Municipality of Santarcangelo has adhered to the Mayors' Manifesto for the legality of gambling. With the resolution of the Giunta Santarcangelo becomes part of the 200 Municipalities that responded to the appeal launched in January from the School of good practices, promoted by Terre di mezzo and Legautonomie Lombardia, with the presentation of the Manifesto in Milan.

The municipal administration undertakes to support all the initiatives and activities aimed at promoting educational and information, cultural, training and regulatory interventions for the prevention of gambling addiction.
Strict limits were already established in the Urban Building Regulations for the presence of activities with slot machines, video lottery and similar machines near schools, hospitals and other sensitive places in the city.
This, the Administration reminds us, is accompanied by the constant monitoring work of the Municipal Police of Vallata on the regularity of the machinery in operation in public establishments, subjected to checks to ascertain that the activity of the machinery takes place within the parameters established by law.
The Giunta's act follows up on the agenda, approved by the City Council during the last session, which had asked the Administration for even greater attention to the regulation of gambling in the municipal area of Santarcangelo.
