The fight against illegal gaming in the province of Agrigento continues unabated. The officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency of Palermo and of the Operational Section of Agrigento, during an inspection carried out at the headquarters of an amateur sports association in Ravanusa, found a customer intent on placing gambling bets via the internet via a personal computer, in violation of the online gaming sector regulations which prohibit the collection of bets in this type of activity.

Inside the same room, a table football table was also found for which the manager had not requested, from the local police station, the required license necessary for installing the game. All the equipment was seized and administrative sanctions of over 65.000 euros were applied, in addition to the dispute of the unpaid entertainment tax.
