Newslot3, final touches to the implementing decree. Maybe a time slip?

26

(Jamma) Busy day today at the headquarters of the Monopolies Administration, in Rome, for the officials of the Entertainment Machines Office. In fact, the meeting between the heads of the State Monopolies and the trade associations, Acadi, Astro, Acmi and Sapar, was held to discuss the technical aspects of the Newslot3, the latest generation devices that will have to replace the current fleet of machines and that will guarantee higher safety standards especially in terms of unchangeability. According to some rumors, the meeting would have proved fruitful as it allowed for the outline of the last details regarding the technical characteristics of the new appliances as formulated in the decree already published several months ago. On the other hand, some perplexities would have emerged regarding the timing of placing the new gaming machines on the market and therefore the deadline envisaged for blocking the distribution of 'old' types of machines. These times would be necessary due to the need to adapt the connection networks and therefore to start the trial period.

There are possible 6/7 months of delay with respect to the timetable foreseen and announced in the article "Newslot 2 until 2018, soon publication of the implementing decree for the production rules of Newslot 3".
