Newslot3, the drafting of the rules of the "game" is increasingly difficult

(Jamma) – As already happened at the time of the transition from Newslot 1 to Newslot 2, updating to the new version for public slots, whether Newlot 3 or Plus, proves to be a difficult and laborious operation.
The ADM technicians who have been working to regulate the process for more than a year are well aware of this, and the operators who have never hidden their perplexities about the project are equally aware of it.

A project inspired by the desire to adopt devices and systems that guarantee greater security in the automatic offer of the game, which leaves no room for propaganda statements or carelessness. If ever there is an urgency, therefore it is not linked to commercial or market reasons but to the need to secure players and the weakest among them, ie those people who tend to lose control and go too far in the game.
Furthermore, there is the need to achieve a higher standard in the quality of the control of the technical and fiscal operations that the operators carry out in the collection exercise on behalf of the State.
Rewriting rules and protocols takes time, patience and the contribution of all the players in the sector. A general contribution that can only be achieved on shared rules and above all around technically possible and economically feasible obligations based on the availability of the supply chain.
The latter is a factor expressly envisaged by the legislator when drafting the first provision which, in some way, envisaged a financing mechanism for this umpteenth replacement operation of the installed appliances.
Yesterday ADM technicians communicated a new version of the draft documents relating to the new AWP technical rules intended for licensees, certification bodies and game card manufacturers.
In particular, the documents concern the communication protocol between the game card, the Aams control device and the telematic network, the communication protocol between the dealer's system, the access point specifications, maintenance, electric lock opening, card testing game and the guidelines for carrying out the technical verification.
The documentation has already been the subject of heated discussions which have led to changes and additions on which it is advisable to organize further analyzes by the Technical Table which will probably be held before the end of August.
The news that the experts in charge are working tenaciously for the new Newslot, that the official publication of the production specifications is soon, is in contradiction with the provisions of local authorities which oppose or even prohibit the distribution of the Newslots in the area and which aim more elimination of AWPs than their replacement.
This is a further problem that the Administration and the representatives of the sector are forced to take into consideration in this new drafting of the rules of the game.
