The financiers of the Compagnia di Avezzano (AQ) carried out an inspection access to a room open to the public in which 4 Slot Machines not connected to the computerized system of Customs and Monopolies were found, installed and functioning properly

Yesterday, August 8, in execution of an autonomous service activity carried out in collaboration with the ADM of L'Aquila to combat illegal gaming, the financiers of the Compagnia di Avezzano carried out an inspection access to a room open to the public in the hamlet of Antrosano in the municipality of Avezzano. 4 Slot Machines were found, installed and functioning properly within the facility. During the check it emerged that the machines were no longer connected to the computerized system of the Customs and Monopolies following the cancellation from the list of Slot operators (so-called RIES) due to non-payment by the operator of taxes and contributions. Despite this, the gaming machines continued to function in violation of art. 30 of Legislative Decree 124/2019. Slot Machines have been seized; the operator and the operator were fined a total of 52.000 euros (26.000 for the operator and 26.000 for the barista) in relation to the failure to possess the authorizations and the failure to connect the appliances to the RIES. In the public gaming sector, the Fiamme Gialle of Avezzano protects players from illegal, insecure and without any guarantees, safeguarding the weakest groups, first of all minors.
