(Jamma) The time limits for game rooms established by an ordinance of the mayor which provided for an opening from 10 to 1 am of the following day remain valid. The fifth section of the Council of State accepted the appeal, presented by the Municipality of Milan, which requested compliance with the ordinance on the opening hours for the gaming and betting halls.
With this pronouncement, which overturns the Tar's decision, the Council of State affirms “the liberalization of the opening hours of shops does not apply to casinos authorized pursuant to art. 88 of the TULPS".
The effectiveness of the timetable regulation for this activity present in the Mayor's order of 29 January 2013 is therefore confirmed
