“As is known, in order to allow the supply chain of devices without cash prizes referred to in paragraph 7 of the art. 110 TULPS to adapt to current technical and administrative regulations, with Directorial Determination no. 172999 of 1 June 2021, a transitional period was identified for devices already installed but not subjected to technical verification of conformity, which resulted in the release of operating authorization expiring on 31 December 2023 following self-certification. In order to avoid disinstallation due to the expiry of the numerous authorizations in force regarding the devices that still fall within the specific category in question, the Agency Directorial Resolution no. 756965 of 19 December 2023, published on the institutional website, has provided for the extension of the transitional regulations until 31 December 2024, allowing the effects of the self-certifications and related authorizations to be extended until that date and thus aligning the time deadlines with those relating to the devices used in the 'travelling entertainment activity'. This is what we read in a notice from the Customs and Monopolies Agency.
