On the stage of the event dedicated to the Italian public gaming sector, the company brought its vision of the future of the sector: from the rules on reorganization to the impact of AI, from the omnichannel approach to the horse racing reform

Snaitech participates in the first edition of IGE – Italian Gaming Expo, the event that brings together institutions, companies and experts in Rome today and tomorrow to discuss the present and future of the gaming sector. In Italy, legal gaming confirms itself as a strategic sector for the entire economy of the country in which authorized dealers represent the cornerstone for a responsible and balanced approach to gaming: from this perspective, IGE proves to be a fundamental opportunity for comparison to which Snaitech has decided to contribute.

Sharing a common reflection and the desire to trace a shared path that leads to sustainability in the medium-long term was at the center of the Opening Conference which saw not only the legal gaming industry, but also the institutions and the regulator. At the table with the Hon. Marco Osnato, President of the Finance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Michael Sessa, Institutional & Regulatory Affairs Director of Snaitech, John Emilio Maggi, Chief Institutional Affairs & Communication Officer SISAL, Gennaro Schettino, Chief of External Relations & Communication Lottomatic e Graham Wood, Senior International Development Manager Bet365.

“Regulation, innovation, social responsibility and economic sustainability are the pillars on which the future of our industry rests – commented Sessa -. And it is this last aspect in particular that I believe is fundamental to guarantee a long-term perspective for dealers, who represent an outpost of legality and safety for the consumer".

The work then continued with a discussion that addressed a very current topic: artificial intelligence and its impact not only on business but on people's lives. During the round table “AI Gaming trend 2024 vs Ethics” In fact, the relationship between technology and ethics was analyzed, examining in depth all the implications that a widespread use of Artificial Intelligence can have on everyday life. Alongside the reflections of the teacher and entrepreneur Gian Luca Comandini, of Fabio De Felice, Professor University of Naples 'Parthenope' and Founder Protom and of Lawyer Stefano Sbordoni, Founder Sbordoni&Partners, the detailed analysis of Riccardo Bartola, Chief Marketing Officer of Snaitech, on what the use of AI in the world of gaming already entails today, future developments and ethical implications: “In our sector, AI is in itself ethical when guarantees us support for predictive analyzes for the identification of gambling behaviors symptomatic of a risk – continued Bartola -. However, as regards activities more closely linked to business, while welcoming this like any other source of innovation with confidence, we must all be more cautious. Above all, we legal gaming dealers have the duty to guarantee our customers' fun experience from the first to the last moment, avoiding the excessive involvement that a degeneration of the use of AI could bring with it".

Lorenzo Stoppini, Snaitech's Racecourse BU director, was the protagonist of the event “The Horse Racing Reform” togetherRemo Chiodi, General Director, MASAF Horse Racing Directorate, Mario Lollobrigida, Central Games Director, Customs and Monopolies Agency, Graham Wood, Senior International Development Manager Bet365, Francis Taricone, Sportsbook Product Senior Manager Sisal Group, Samuele Feci, Head of Retail Product Revenue & Distribution SKS365 e Alessandro Arletti, Founder Arletti&Partners.

Stoppini's contribution was inspired by the history and identity of Snaitech itself, characterized by a deep connection with sport: a peculiar dimension that the company wants to protect and strengthen also through an innovative approach in the world of horse racing and in relation to the assets it owns, the Snai San Siro and Snai La Maura racecourses in Milan and the Snai Sesana racecourse in Montecatini Terme: “To meet the needs of a public continually seeking forms of engaging entertainment, various solutions have been implemented over the years, such as the creation of a single information portal on horse sports. From this perspective, the path undertaken by MASAF and ADM in terms of renewing bets in this sector takes on fundamental importance. Snaitech has long focused on enhancing the facilities through the contamination of racing days with other types of events. An ambitious vision that sees us committed to acting as an all-round entertainment organizer and manager", concluded Stoppini.
