Filed on 13 August 2023 by the Court of Tax Justice of the Second Degree of Rome with an order which ordered the suspension of an appeal judgement, brought forward by an alleged former non-regulated affiliate, in relation to thesingle tax on bets, to which the CED holder and bookmaker are jointly and severally obliged.
This is the tenor of the ordinance: “orders the suspension of the trial pursuant to art. 39-I bis Legislative Decree no. 546/1992 until the final judgment of the appeal under RGA 4397/2020 of this Court; - orders the Customs and Monopolies Agency, Monopolies Office for Lazio to summarize the present judgment within 90 days (ninety ) from the final judgment of the sentence that defines the appeal judgment under RGA n. 4397/2020 of this Court or, in the event of an appeal to cassation, from the publication of the sentence of the same Court of Cassation."
The ordinance was made in acceptance of the request formulated to that effect by theadv. Mark Ripamonti, defender of the former affiliate, who supported the unconditional prejudicial relationship between the fate of the bookmaker's debt, especially following a possible facilitated settlement, and the pertinent shares of all the alleged former affiliates.
