The Spanish Football Federation and the General Directorate for the Regulation of Gambling (hereinafter, DGOJ) signed, at the Federation's headquarters in Las Rozas, the collaboration agreement for the membership of the Royal Spanish Football Federation in the Research Service of Global Betting Market.

Through this agreement, the Federation will be able to send information and alerts on irregular or suspicious sports bets placed as part of a sporting event that may be fraudulent in nature.

This Service is regulated by Law 13/2011, of 27 May 2011, on the regulation of gambling, in its ninth additional provision, and its purpose is to prevent and combat fraud in the sports betting market and manipulation in gambling competitions. this type through the exchange of information between the main interested actors, thus contributing to the defense of the values ​​of fair play and equity embodied in sport.
